Lars Myrvoll – The Island
Lars Myrvoll is a person that is deeply involved in the contemporary music scene in Norway, usually linked to electronic and experimental music. His album 'The Island' is on the other hand basically centered around the acoustic guitar. The album has taken six years to complete and is a mellow experience. It is not a concept album, but Myrvoll wanted, especially the artwork, to be open and distant. The album is created with a set of illustrations that is intended to work isolated. Together they function as narrative elements, but not as a story.
