Juvelen – 1

Translated 'Juvelen' means 'The Jewel'. Juvelen is a Swedish pop artist heavily influenced by Prince. He has one foot in the club scene and one foot in the classical pop tradition. The artwork for his record is based on two opposites that can be an image on his music. Glossy magazines and popular science magazines is the basis for the design. The glossy magazine's editorial language with large letters (pop music) and science magazine's illustrations (the electronic sound) results in a peculiar hybrid.
