Borealis Festival

Borealis is a new festival for contemporary music and has become one of the most interesting in Scandinavia of its kind. The festival line-up is very diverse. The musical profile spans from punk to philharmonic performances.
Since the festival represents such a diverse range of musical projects, the visual language was developed strictly typographical with minor graphical and illustrative elements. The diversity is represented by simplicity and details. A special headline font works as main focal point for the material. It is based on old Norwegian architecture and is a sans serif with decorative elements. The profile consists only of two colours. Each year there is a new colour combination.
